Ginny weasley recasting bonnie wright did a great job considering how much they changed her character in the movies, or cut her scenes I do feel like her portrayal of ginny was of a shier quieter person of the earlier books, rather than the strongwilled fiery we got in the later books. I was surprised by her having brown eyes though, until i remember it was bonnie wright, not ginny weasley, that had blue eyes, heh I suppose that conveniently went with rupert grint and ron weasley for consistency, too. At bill and fleur’s wedding muriel makes a loud comment about ginny’s dress being too low cut Implying cleavage is readily visible.
So, i just read the 7th book for the second or third time, and in the beginning at the weasleys' house, ginny kisses harry like she's never kissed him before. ron walks in, is horrified, etc Beautiful fan drawing of ginny weasley (exactly how i would've imagined her to look from reading the books) With all due respect to bonnie wright, this is who i always imagined ginny weasley would be like. 1.9m subscribers in the harrypotter community Welcome to r/harrypotter, the place where fans from around the world can meet and discuss everything… The movies made ginny a dull and bland character who was just kind of there. i'm not a romance fan and thus don't care about shipping and pairings but it would have been great to see ginny's actual personality on screen.
