Dental school may be slightly harder than med school just because you have to balance theory with treating patients whereas in med you really just observe. How hard is it actually to get into dentistry My teacher’s son got all 9s at gcse and got 2a* and 2a at a level (he got one of the a* in year 10 or 11 in r.s) However, he applied for dentistry in 2022 and got rejected from everywhere and only got one interview. Like i said, at least with being a family practitioner without specializing, there isn’t that before and after like dentistry Speaking of specializing, i always say that dentistry is a specialty within itself which i really like too. In dentistry it’s much easier and more common to own your own practice and be your own boss, which is nice if you enjoy the business side of it I also value having a family, and dentistry can be more accommodating to that generally There’s lots of reasons people go to dental school over med school and the other way around. Our practice just stopped working with them after they botched a few cases

Worst one was an implant crown + veneer case where dandy was not sending things back on time and not following the instructions on the lab prescription

After sending things back a couple times and rescheduling due to delays on dandy’s end, patient decided to leave the practice and ask for a refund
