Port alto boat ramp n 28â°39.508' w 96â°24.892' looking to fish carancahua bay tomorrow I originally wanted to use the olivia boat ramp and loop around but this one looks like it may a public ramp i can use instead I have just moved to around weedhaven tx and i water access to carancahuna bay I was wondering how the fishing is in this bay and what the best way to fish it is I mainly fish the laguna madre and this bay looks like a whole different type of fishing Any advice and tips is greatly appreciated!

They are also similiar in other ways, one thing that is a big difference is price I have found that the explorer is more expensive and does not carry a warrenty as good as bluewave The bluewave seems to be a good bang for the buck So i am looking for opinions Do you think the explorer is worth the extra money. They reworked it a couple of years ago and we see people put in there quite often There is also a public ramp at the end of 172 in olivia Just a couple of options. You can wade port lavaca bay from magnolia through indianola The marshes around indianola are pretty soft and powderhorn are pretty soft Olivia has decent wade fishing as well, popular kayak launch
Carancahua/olivia both bays are good for fishing if you know the right spots As far as boat ramps go, there is a good one in front at olivia Pretty sure there is still one a little ways up the creek at a bait camp (haven't used it in years) As for carancuhua, it has very limited access unless you are willing to run a good ways.
