King county parcel viewer $1,000 properties Was looking at some property and the assessment values seemed weird, so i looked at other parts of seattle and even on the east side, the county seems to drop the value of a house to $1,000 Can anyone think of a reason why this might be happening
It looks fishy to me. For anyone that isn’t familiar with the parcel viewer Im not talking about if the map view has the boundaries 6 inches off of the property line, but like a ~20ft wide parcel of land Using the parcel viewer as mentioned by u/lumpytrout you can find your way to a quarter section map that should have more detailed information about the property lines. You'll need to email them your address and the tax parcel number, which you can find at the king county assessor link above You can also make an appointment to visit the bellevue archives building in person and search through the records yourself, if that's your idea of a fun afternoon
I just got the property report for one of the phantom parcels near magnolia It has a parcel number, plat block and lot number, zoned single family residential (sf 7200), etc. I was looking at the king county parcel viewer and found these phantom streets and plots in puget sound off magnolia Does anyone have any sources for the purpose of them I'd imagine they were for a never realized regrade and fill for the bluffs, but i haven't been able to find anything on it. The parcel in question parcel#2021069026 i wish the parcel wasn't shoe horned in, i love the area I'm not sure how the person that has it up for sale would be able to sale it, unless a neighbor buys it It's been appraised at 18k, and they are trying to sale for 75k.
