I no longer trust teracopy after an incident resulting in a backup of deliverables being lost during a copy/paste The copy was from a local raid array, and the paste was to an external ssd The operation was stopped just a moment after beginning, and then it was aborted. So far, i have come across some popular options such as fastcopy, teracopy, and total commander But i am sure there are more options out there! I used teracopy first, but ended up having too many issues with it
The program would crash from time to time when i tried to transfer a big chunk of data, wasting a lot of time Eventually after a crash it simply failed to run ever again and so i abandoned it and moved to fastcopy. The only reason i use tc is because of its file verification ability Speed of copy is a much lower concern I can only ever copy files successfully, not move.
