I probably did not get enough pictures or take enough botes, but here goes To start off, i replaced a holley 4bbl carb mounted on an offenhauser intake Is it more carb than. Just bought a 1983 scrambler and doing some restoration to it I want to get 35's on it but need to add a lift kit I have been told that skyjacker has the best ride but also should look at old man emu
Need some experienced scramblers with some advice on these lift kits with the softest ride. Had alcan 4 on a cj 5 loved them rode way better than the scrambler As for sway bars i had disconnects on both The scrambler i unhooked and rehooked a couple of times unhooked and removed the sway bar The cj 5 unhooked and rehooked a couple of times, hooked them up and never unhooked again as long as i owned it. Dedicated to complete builds, rebuilds and restoration threads from start to end.
The yj soft uppers are square on the rear corner and the bestop are round but are bigger than steel doors as they overlay the soft top Yj hard doors will fit a cj perfectly They are dimensionally exactly the same. Is the body off the frame on either one of those Can you check dimension n k and j for me too? Toying with the idea of keeping the scrambler (wife has already agreed) but this will definitely require performing an engine swap to make it long distance at 65 mph and partly to satisfy my need to tinker
:d was considering dropping in a 4.0 fuel injection engine with an automatic. I purchased the last three sets of chrome rear bumper and end caps with brackets from jw They came in today and look really nice The brackets are very close to the oem brackets Front of rear cross member only I currently have 3 scramblers and all 3 of them still have the brackets.
