Even though one or two guessed correctly by the general feel of the scene i wonder if there was a way to make it clearer for international audience. After watching squid game and absolutely loving it, i decided to watch alice in borderland, a japanese show based on a manga, that is similar to squid game in many ways Alice in borderland spoiler heavy first episode was great, and had me excited to watch the next episode But as it went on it got worse and worse, in absolutely all aspects. Here's the parts that disturbed me the most The fact that none of them knew what they were getting into
It's so simple and yet feels so unfair For a game that tries to make everything fair, it's disturbing to see a bunch of people's lives end so quickly in such a sad way The honeycomb/marble games left me pretty chilled ngl Something about the guards just killing people with no remorse. I went down a tiktok rabbit hole I gathered all the information here
Filming red light green light took about. Yes, that scene flashed through my mind each subsequent time they showed boxes being taken to the furnaces and wondering if the person inside might still be alive ( remember during the tug of war game when it panned through one of the teams that had plummeted to the ground and one guy was still alive but in a pool of blood Yeah, wondered if he was still alive by the time they put him in. How graphic or gory is squid game I'm interested in the series, but my wife has difficulty handling explicit graphic violence (think explicitly cutting off a finger)
Obviously this is a violent show, but is the violence mostly gunshots and implied, or is there more graphic stuff? I usually have averse reactions to sex scenes in media, especially when they are completely unmotivated or sexualised for the sake of being sexualised, but i actually didn't mind the scene in squid game because there was a purpose with it It was there to be an example of yet another transaction under capitalism. Same sex activity does not necessarily mean gay Hello everyone this post is for discussion of squidgame episode 4 Do not spoil future episodes
