As far as sigourneys “bush” issue, there were countless behind the scenes photos and continuity images from alien with weaver in that underwear and while there may be talented air brushers to spot out some errant hairs in a frame i doubt scott or fox had the cash to have someone do that for every behind the scene photo, documentary footage.

Why did ripley strip in the first film I can understand there’s probably some symbolism there in that scene and how sigourney weaver felt about it, but is there any kind of in universe explanation why she just takes off her clothes in the first movie It’s been a while since i’ve seen it so i may be misremembering or forgetting things. Makes me think of how sigourney weaver wanted to be more naked in alien 1 but wasn’t allowed to 😂 “you see the alien’s in its birthday suit the entire film, so i thought it was a cop out having me wear the underwear, and not stripping entirely.” I read that the writers didn't have a use for sigourney weaver character dana barret in the in ghostbusters frozen empire and thought adding her would add no purpose, but they added anne potts character jannie melnitz as a cameo, so why not sigourney weaver character dana barret as a cameo as well? After watching the first alien movie (finally) i can’t help but find young sigourney weaver attractive
