This will be out first trip to the island What tours and activities are recommended, including any specific companies We would like to go on a boat trip for snorkeling and to the national park but are also looking for other. The best beach snorkeling i can remember was off flowers bay beach Lots of fish and coral close to the shore But, you had to wade through lots of plastic trash to get into the water
No one else was snorkeling there and it was a tiny bit creepy though. We stayed in cairns and did a couple of days of snorkeling One was to the observation place where all the boats go and another was a catamaran out to an isolated island with snorkeling along the island. Our snorkeling trip was disappointing Cloudy water, the small chop and wind made the snorkeling hard There was few fish and uninspiring coral reefs
I wouldn’t waste my time flying north to see the great barrier reef It was part of an australia tour. Snorkeling, kayaking and boating in the bay is perfect Excursions to other reefs available Pretty secluded though, but did i say beautiful We did day trip over to st
Day trip to nevis and snorkeled off a boat/tour Beautiful and can drive around the island in one day. We are 2 couples heading to iceland for the first time early september I am hoping for some advice/feedback on a few activities/places I feel a bit apprehensive Is there a tour compan.
What i meant was i’m not sure that area would make a good base @robert and tammy, i think i may call the park service for more details about the molokai historic park. I want to experience snorkeling in / around the great barrier reef… but my wife doesn’t tend to want to snorkel (despite being beach people…the “jaws” movies in childhood forever left their impact!). There is good snorkeling right from the beach at anse chastenet and a lot of the snorkel tours bring people there We saw an abundance of fish and some sea turtles
The next door beach, anse mamin, has a gate leading back to the ruins of an old sugar cane processing plantation A tour there was very informative. I am also a seasick person, so i can relate to how you feel I heard that your daughter recommended using meclizine to combat seasickness, this is a good suggestion.
