I've never seen her scrape a dupe or create a listing with ste even if there were thousands of matches. Usps has their address with ste their website and the majority of backlink profiles have suite spelled out their successful gmb listing has # instead of suite i know it is a small change but am nervous about updating anything on gmb right now. I just posted in suite vs ste vs # in your citation addresses thread that the mapmaker article on how to post suite numbers in the address line changed on january 11, 2013. Just searching the address as 1234 w main st, suite 123 anytown, usa i often find that google will return the map as a search result and convert the suite to #123 So my thought was that maybe it would be best to start creating citations with the # format that google seems to prefer When trying to figure out the best nap, i do a citation search using ste and get a lot more citations then when i use suite (spelled out)
Should i go with ste for the nap I heard google doesn't use ste Is it better to match the most citations though? I wondered if anyone could lend some input on whether it would cause problems for the suite number to be displayed before the street address in a google place page On one of my client's listings, a google rep moved the suite number before the street address instead of after the st Suite vs ste vs # in your citation addresses mike wilton dec 20, 2012 more threads by mike wilton prev 1 2
I am happy with the intent shown by google at solving this issue So i will wait for this to be corrected and i will keep you posted In the meantime, i thought i could learn some new approach tried out by yourself and other friends on this forum in getting ste, suite or # to stick! I updated the maps listing address on a clients gmb page to reflect the majority of the citations online I removed ste and replaced it to reflect the # sign on most listings Now the listing only shows in results when i zoom in
It is a dental practice if that matters I'm not sure where to go next
