Im trying to pursue a profession in being a high school teacher However, after reading so many threads of people being miserable, and complaining about the job I am second guessing myself, i know this wont be an easy job, but im trying to find something positive about this profession It also seems that teachers that just start vs are a veteran have very different perspectives I am one of those teachers that really enjoy making content, and as such have several units (mostly on 9th and 10th grade level novels) that i am considering putting up on tpt for some extra money

Teachers are constantly put down and demeaned Many employers do not think that teachers have skill sets that translate out of the classroom However, most teachers are masters of pedagogy, curriculum design, and classroom management These same skills translate very well into team building, resource management, and instructional design.
