O god, rich in mercy, you look with compassion on this troubled world Feed us with your grace, and grant us the treasure that comes only from you, through jesus christ, our savior and lord + word + first reading Nurture our relationships with the lakeland community, that we serve and advocate for our neighbors in need God of grace, we pray and sing… we offer thanksgiving for the faithful departed O god, whose promises never end, we thank you for all the saints who have shown us the way of your son, jesus christ
We are a community of faith with the cross of jesus christ in our midst As our name suggests, the grace of god shapes who we are as followers of jesus We welcome all to join us Bring your faith and care, questions and worries, joys and doubts We are one in christ striving to do god’s work with our hands. We trample on the needy We grumble about your grace to others We turn away from the poor Have mercy on us and forgive our sins Rejoice over us as ones who were lost and have been found. When our actions endanger the survival of other species, curb our greed and waste
You call us to work for the good of all Give resolve to those who lead, that they do not grow weary in doing what is right Guide them to seek peace between nations and freedom for all people God of grace, hear our prayer. Grace recently installed a hearing loop in our sanctuary, a special type of sound system for use by the hearing impaired Set your hearing aids to the t setting (for telecoil) and sound from our audio system will be transmitted directly to your hearing aids.
