The engine bay will be very clean I would check the vacuum pump first though super common issue on the 6.7l The bolts come loose and oil leaks from the engine behind the pump Usually replace the gasket and get new bolts. I took it in and it turns out to be the upper oil pan Looked on youtube to see what was involved in this operation and was surprised at how involved it is

My 6.7 powerstroke has developed a small leak where the oil filter threads in at The leak is very small and will run down to the bottom of the filter Only enough oil to cover the tip of your finger but i just changed the oil and new filter does the same thing When your diesel truck is leaking oil, it's frustrating
