I also tried using kodi 18.9 and older versions, and on them it works fine with channels that work, but as soon as it comes across a non working channel, it hangs on it for. Getting frustrating, i feel so close to having the system setup i’ve wanted but keep getting stuck, then i take a break…figure something out, then get stuck again I feel like this is the last thing So close …it sees the oppo, everything else at least appears to work. I've been trying the latest kodi on my h.265 encoded hdr.mkv files and noticed that files look ungraded and colors are dull as if i'm watching it with app that doesn't know what to do with hdr files Microsoft's movies and tv app on the other hand turns on color grading on those hdr files immediately Saturation and contrast are great.
Scroll down and there should be an entry hdmi port value/number (something like that), with a default value of '0' Change that to '2' or whatever port number your rpi is currently connected to on your tv Save the cec settings, and reboot the rpi. Additionally i append the complete log [huge block of text removed by moderator] if you need further information let me know If i run without portable kodi starts up
Downgrading to 21.2 fixes it but nightlies that worked fine before don't anymore I got kodi to work However, now my nas is complaining about security issues It says i opened up the ssh on port 22 and also that i used a * (joker) in the nfs settings for the video folder on my nas So i wonder if i could install kodi without making my network more vulnerable and how to Does kodi support usb tv hardware
Windows, i imagine there is a windows package to install this device libreelec & coreelec yes, there are different drivers made by cvh
