Kukaku shiba (theory discussion) kukaku only had a very brief appearance near the beginning of the final arc What brought her back into the story was the fact that the zero division went directly to her as a means of returning to the royal realm As we all know, she's missing almost all of her right arm. Chapter 518, after kukaku launches ichigo and zero squad, ganju asks her if it was ok to do that and she says it was even if it makes uncle sad (referring to isshin)
Byakuya even mentioned how ichigo resembled kaien. Yoruichi was likely friends with kukaku as great nobles and through their relationship with isshin reply reply kingej1 • Kukaku would eventually had taken over years later Also kukaku and yoruichi seem to have known each other, which would be before yoruichi left ss The former 10th division captain who was stated to have died before tbtp was the head of the shiba clan Kukaku took over during the 10years of kisuke's captaincy.
Kukaku was probably a playmate to yoruichi at some point in their childhood and from there she met urahara. I don't remember there being an instance in the anime where kukaku hinted that she knew ichigo was their relative despite him looking a lot like kaien, maybe i missed it I know in the manga byakuya recognized kaien in ichigo New comments cannot be posted and votes cannot be cast.
