Callaway can have excellent fishing

We fished there last spring, and had a great time Tons of fish, beautiful scenery, overall a fabulous day We fished it last week after a cold front had come through, and it was pretty slow Most of the fishing on the best lakes is guided only The main lake can be fished without a guide, and some big fish are taken out of there every year. Does anyone know if the gun club at callaway gardens has reopened yet

Or is there another sporting clays range around the same area? I just heard on the news that an atlanta real estate guy just bought 2500 acres of callaway gardens Callaway gardens was looking for some cash and this guy wanted a place for him and his sons to deer hunt I wonder if he would be interested in adopting me? I just spoke with paul hudson at kingfisher outfitters and they will be stocking the lakes of callaway gardens again this year with trout The stocking date is set for nov

If you have never done the winter trout trips at callaway i highly recommend it and if you have done the trip you know.

Has anyone done the guided tours of the smaller ponds at callaway gardens I was there this past weekend and spoke to paul at kingfisher outfitters Any input would be great. Callaway itself does not offer deer hunting or any type of hunting for that matter They do have a gun club where you can shoot skeet and sporting clays The quail hunting operation i believe is seperate from callaway itself

Trout won't be there once water temps start to rise in late spring/summer. Are there going to be very many turkey call makers set up in callaway gardens this weekend Will it be worth a four hour drive I have a guided trip planned for tomorrow I have the usual suspects tied on, but if anyone has any local knowledge of what the bass prefer it would be greatly appreciated I'm going after size not quantity.

Heading to my wifes family reunion in callaway gardens this weekend

I know there are several ponds down that way Are they worth checking out I sure would appreciate any info, even if you make it up just to cheer me up.it is still a family reunion.
