Didnt to any changes to my pc software or hardware wise Fix that worked for me was manually deleting the data folder and verifying integrity of game files again via steam. Unfortunately i cant blame helldivers itself for the bad update system, cuz at the end of the day the game relies on steam's content distribution system (steampipe) which is supposed to make updates more efficient The guide tries to fix one of the worst bottlenecks slow patching caused by steam writing temp files to an hdd instead of an ssd.
