In the case of consumer brands, it is usually only a costume, trinket, or physical goods in the associated brand's story In this case, reverse 1999 is including an assassin's creed event that includes ezio and kassandra as pullable characters. Origins is the better game, with a better story, but kassandra is definitely the better protagonist, and i'd argue one of the best video game protagonists of the generation. Kassandra, the pretty one who's actually canon, not the stupid cop out lame bro who's better marketing so they did this illusion of choice bullshit in a game about objective historical occurrences. Phillips notes that although the split ended up being two third alexios and one third kassandra, that number actually surprised him He clarifies that during playtests the split was roughly 50/50, and that in the end he even though that there would be a little bit more kassandra. phillips shares that beyond that initial choice, all of the rest of the choices surprised the team.
Kassandra seems pretty forgettable in her scenes with alexios, so either there's some bias at play, hinging on the player's chosen character, or the scenes with the siblings together were directed worse than the rest for some reason. So i personally didn't play the last of us 2 but it seems like there has been a lot of bullshit regarding assholes hating on a new female character introduced in the game because she dared being a woman withl defined muscles *** if you click on the artstation link it apparently leads to. How much do you like the setting/aesthetic I could see someone particularly into japan as a setting and samurai overlooking other issues to explore the world unlike if it was set in another area. The greek tragedy style story focused on kassandra/alexios family was very interesting, the ancient greek scenery was stunning and sailing between greek islands so atmospheric.
Overall i'd say there are more memorable characters in odyssey than in origins, but that may just be due to how much bigger it is The combat is much improved over origins It's still far from perfect, but i had a much better time with it. Honestly black flag had some of the best modern day stuff imo And it has the best twist at the end by tying the past stuff with the modern stuff very directly Like, to the point i don't understand how they're doing the ending without it, the past stuff just ends.
