I have 7 rogers/yahoo email addresses but when i try and sign in to make changes, i am blocked with a secure your account message which requires the phone number of a smart phone capable of receiving sms messages I do not own such a phone How can i get around this message block so i can get to the email accounts i administer. How can i unmerge or unlink my internet (rogers.com) and yahoo accounts I want to link my yahoo account with a more generic email address, but every time i try it takes me to the rogers member centre. After being unable to use rogers password generator since march, it appears they have just recently changed the process and you can now setup your account through outlook 365 which then takes you to a rogers yahoo login. Then when it tries to sync the account after that, i'm prompted for my rogers/yahoo login credentials again It won't recognize my imap account credentials, only my rogers account credentials. So, if an insignificant number of yahoo canada customers (via rogers) can't obtain an application authenticator password, what's it to a foreign company such as yahoo?
When i reached out to rogers, they informed me that they no longer support external email clients and that accessing emails via a web browser is the only option This is terrible service—who does that?. It is definitely possible to access an alternative yahoo email, other than the one provided by rogers Had the same issue after cancelling rogers Yahoo kept redirecting to the rogers email Just removed all yahoo cookies from chrome and could login with my other yahoo email
