David is really straight forward and honest, which is rear in the night city that made lucy slowly fell for him For the people in night city, virginity is not a thing to consider, but the the way to open yourself to other people for first time is considered a more intimate action. David is definitely not dead, there's so much direct evidence that many max tac soldiers are reformed cyberpsychos, and these corporations intentionally pushed david toward cyberpsychosis for some reason.
