If you like it, then move to bioshock 2 and minerva's den, and finally bioshock infinite. Trueand honestly that makes sense because this game has been in development since 2014 and bioshock 4 had only recently been in development since 2019 (they started technically in 2016 with the city being in the 60s in the antarctic called borealis and parkside but i think they cancelled that and have since started over and went back to square one) Moral of the story i’d say is don’t lose hope! For me it has to be bioshock 2 I really loved bioshock 1, however it's core story was reused from system shock 2 Bioshock 2 built on everything i loved about the first game and improved upon it, better combat, better hacking, better original story

Some days ago i decided to delve into bioshock remastered, since it has been in my steam library for a while and i never played it before (i used to play the original years ago, so the remastered was automatically added to my library but never opened). Infinite and the dlc is that all elizabeths, comstocks, and rapturestocks are dead In the purge, we're made to believe that the remaining elizabeth survives because the screen goes black, but pay attention to the sound design An elizabeth disappears after each piano chime. How is it possible to go from the pinnacle of game mechanics in bioshock 2, to the nonsense 2 weapon limit/no point in using vigors/dumb skyline combat of infinite
And stupid constants & variables multiverse plot that thinks its smart and thought provoking, but just ends up being dumb and time wasting Are you playing the remastered version of the game It’s always the spider splicer in the fighting mcdonagh’s tavern that fails to spawn There’s supposed to be a scripted event where he taunts you and climbs into the ceiling hole He eventually says “hey where’d you go?” and jumpscares you out of the ceiling hole in room 5 It seems to occur when you dawdle too long before heading.
