Where to find location codes By bluenite » tue may 17, 2016 2:14 pm Feeling proud of myself that it worked, i went to sleep happy that the weather was once again on my screen and the job was done. Mon aug 24, 2020 2:29 pm yes, i have seen this as well

I just noticed it recently If you have a location that has at least one alert, and then on the next update all alerts are gone, the severity codes will retain their previous numeric. It appears that sometime over the last several days, weather.com has made a change to their weather codes Most instructions for weather skins (including on the forums) suggest going to the main weather.com site, searching for a location, and grabbing a section of the resulting url from the browser's address bar to use for the location code.
