I have previously been with racv third party Comparing the prices of both.i can get comprehensive insurance with aami for about $650.compared to racv which is over $900 I have never put in a claim in the past and so am not sure what else to be looking for when choosing insurance I would imagine insurance between companies are. I've had good experiences with aami, i dropped the car into the assessment centre, they didn't have the hire car there waiting, so they paid for my taxi home, and back to the airport, they fixed the car in 3 days, i took the car back to the airport, they paid the taxi fare back to the panelbeater, the panel beater. I have done quotes with racq and they seem to come back considerably more expensive than many others. My issue is, on the policy renewal there is no information on the ncd, which means getting a quote from another company rather difficult.
