One is alexa and the other is ziggy Dots in master bathroom for music/news in the morning Dot in the living room bluetoothed to soundbar Dot in daughter and grandaughter's rooms 1 in the workshop/barn, for music, paired. It's not a result of poor coverage either on the network, as the speeds are more than enough for the alexas to do their job in every room that one is located in
Have tried rebooting the router, the one ap & all of the alexas but have had no luck Anyone have a similar experience and/or any ideas on how to fix this I have fixed the issue. Alexa is designed around your voice She's always on—just ask for information, music, news, weather, and more We have a family spotify account and family setup of echo dots
We want different spotify accounts to play on the respective devices I’m sick of my teenage daughter’s songs mucking up my spotify history Not a techie and did not stay in a holiday inn express, but my guess is the non show devices are not much more than a microphone, speakers and chips to connect to wifi and amazon servers So there’s really not much there to fail I have some great floor standing speakers that are easily 30+ years old and they sound as good, if not better, than any of the new soundbars and other speakers out. Odd behaviors include hearing but not responding to commands, choosing the wrong device to ingest the command (when multiple alexas are in proximity to each other), performing actions on devices that did not ingest the command, randomly switching user profiles, issuing responses utterly unrelated to the command, and more.
What happens if i put two alexa devices in the same room Will they both try to execute the voice command at the same time, or ?? Can i connect multiple alexas together in my house so that they all play the same music from my phone? I've ordered one echo for my office, but intend to use it as a bluetooth speaker The office is somewhat big, so i'm considering getting a second echo while it's on sale, but i'm wondering if i can couple the two, and have both play the same music simultaneously Any insight is greatly appreciated
I found out a way after a lot of struggle This works in all cases whether you want to play songs from a particular playlist or a particular song or simply anything Step1:create a routine and add an action to set the device volume to whatever you want the music to be at Step2:add the music/playlist you want to play I know the 5th gen doesn’t have one Alongside voice control, i plan to play radio via the echo device so audio quality and stereo sound are important
Which echo offers the best stereo sound via an aux out?
