The reboot first premiered in france on july 1, 2024, however, the entire reboot got leaked on july 21, 2024. Following the leaks of some episodes and later the entire reboot in 2024, the comedy central reboot received a mixed reception from longtime fans, due to various problems such as its tamer animation, billy west's weak performance as ren and stimpy as a result of his old age and him getting covid during the end of the production of the reboot. Ren & stimpy is an upcoming american adult animated series produced by awesome inc, jaffe institute of technology and mtv entertainment studios for comedy central, airing on the network outside the united states. And honestly the relationship between ren and stimpy feels a lot like the classic show, like i imagine if the original ren and stimpy were put in these situations that this is exactly how they would react.
