I want to get my thoughts down while the game is completely fresh in my mind Don't know if anyone will read or care but here are my thoughts, with spoilers, for mortal shell The game feels extremely similar to lords of the fallen in terms of how heavy and clunky it feels. The black mortal blade is called open gate for its ability to open the gates that separate the alive from the dead, meaning it's user can literally bring back the dead, the small little detail is that it requires a sacrifice, in the context of the story, geni sacrifices himself to bring back isshin.
