Overall bioshock>infinite>bioshock 2 but they all have their merits None of them are bad games so it's worth playing through the whole trilogy (and don't skip the dlc You'll miss out) the combat in bioshock 2 is a lot better than 1 and really makes you think about preparation (setting traps etc) before each encounter It alsi feels bigger in scale than 1, but not on the level of infinite 175k subscribers in the bioshock community This subreddit is dedicated to the bioshock game series.
I am not too picky in games, i enjoy a good story and gameplay but i want your opinion is bioshock worth it is on sale for 12$ (the collection) on steam so idk if i should get it or not New comments cannot be posted and votes cannot be cast. I would go with bioshock 1 just to understand the setting and gameplay If you like it, then move to bioshock 2 and minerva's den, and finally bioshock infinite. I got bioshock 1 and 2 on steam, both remastered versions and original one it's my first time on bioshock franchise, never played any of the games before i have a decent pc so no worries about performance, i saw some comparison videos and original version looks better in some areas and remaster looks better in others, so i'm in a dilemma here for you guys who played both versions, which one is. The thing that made bioshock the shit was it's uniqueness
Start by looking up immersive sims or maybe games that other bioshock fans like What exactly did you like about bioshock? How do the remastered versions of the games in bioshock The collection compare to the originals? Trueand honestly that makes sense because this game has been in development since 2014 and bioshock 4 had only recently been in development since 2019 (they started technically in 2016 with the city being in the 60s in the antarctic called borealis and parkside but i think they cancelled that and have since started over and went back to square one) Infinite and the dlc is that all elizabeths, comstocks, and rapturestocks are dead
In the purge, we're made to believe that the remaining elizabeth survives because the screen goes black, but pay attention to the sound design An elizabeth disappears after each piano chime.
