If you go to meps within a certain number of days after taking the picat to take a short verification test to lock in your scores (to make sure you didn't cheat at home or the recruiting office) those scores will count as official asvab scores.

So i took the picat last week and scored an overall score of 86, much higher than i was anticipating I'll be going to meps soon and will take the confirmation test there to prove that i didn't cheat and my score is honest.
