I dont mean a bodybuilder that doesn't eat enough I mean a bodybuilder that thinks he is not muscular enough, just like anorexics think they're not thin enough I think, we all are anorexic bodybuilders come to think of it Who wouldn't want another 20 lb of muscle? The more successful you do at these events, the higher you will be able to compete in the sport, and maybe one day, become a professional (whereby you are able to compete for prize money, potentially get sponsors etc) For instance, a bodybuilder will have huge muscles, he trains to make those muscles bigger They get stronger as a secondary function and as a way of building more muscles A strong man trains his muscles to be as efficient as possible recruiting more muscle fiber.
